Olly Murs says The X Factor could benefit from a 'three or four year' break

judge said the ITV series, which has now been on air since 2004, needs a ‘three of four year break’ – just like other talent shows that have been on for years.

‘I’m not surprised [about celebrity X Factor] because I think the show has been around for so long,’ Olly said.‘Like any show, I was only on Dancing on Ice the other day, I remember when it had a three or four year break, and sometimes shows need that.’‘The time feels right, and it will be a huge change,’ he told‘We haven’t exactly confirmed the dates or the order of the shows, but essentially there are going to be two versions of X Factor running this year.
