In the opening scenes of the Martin Bashir-fronted documentary Living with Michael Jackson, which broadcast to a stunned audience of 15 million Brits (and 38 million Americans) in February 2003, the King of Pop talked about the simple pleasures in life.

“I love climbing trees, I think it’s my favourite thing,” he said. “Water balloon fights and climbing trees, those two are my favourites.

I remember that as something of a hatchet job. He was so inhibited and English he just didn't get Jackson's childlike habits. Why would a normal person want to climb a tree! That was about as deep as that programme got. Because it is fun idiot!
