Michael Jackson music is climbing charts after explosive Leaving Neverland film

Despite the shocking sexual abuse claims made by two alleged victims against Michael Jackson in the Leaving Neverland film, his music has re-entered the charts.

The 2005 collection The Essential Michael Jackson, 1987 Bad and 1982's Thriller have all reportedly entered back in the top 200 chart according to the publication. HuffPo reports that a jukebox musical based on the making of his 1992 world tour is set to open on Broadway in 2020, which is being developed by his estate.

Execs say they felt they had no choice but to shelve the episode, Stark Raving Dad, which is being removed from streaming services and TV channels which air the show. Fellow executive producers Matt Groening and Al Jean agree with the decision, he said, adding: "The guys I work with - where we spend our lives arguing over jokes - were of one mind on this."
