Just in time for International Women’s Day on March 8, Vancouver actress Mackenzie Davis has been named the new ambassador of One Girl Can. We caught up with Davis in advance of the official announcement to learn more about the charity, her connection to it and why she feels it’s so important.A. A. Yes, I’ve been lucky to witness the entire evolution of One Girl Can over the past 11 years. It was founded by my mother, Lotte Davis, when I was in university, and watching the program grow and adapt to the needs of the girls and the communities that it works with has been really inspiring.
