Paramount+ has announced a documentary that will spotlight 1990s and 2000s boy bands and their place in pop culture.

NSYNC

Toffler said of the documentary, “If you think back to groups like The Jackson 5, who paved the way for boy bands, this music has dominated the charts for decades, but there’s always been a stigma attached. The reality is, these are insanely talented guys who led the requests each week when I was running in the ’90s and early 2000s.

The series is based on Charmaine Wilkerson’s novel, a family drama and murder mystery that spans decades and takes place in Jamaica, Rome, Scotland, England and Southern California. The genre-bending series follows a newly-married couple — portrayed by Stone and Fielder — who are trying to conceive a child while starring in their own home-improvement show. The couple is forced to navigate an alleged curse said to disturb their relationship.

The Daytime Emmy-nominated series will air on Fox Television Stations, Hearst Television, Sinclair Broadcast Group, TEGNA, Nexstar Media Group, Scripps Media and Gray Media Group, in addition to other station groups.
