Denver Deluxe is returning after a hiatus in partnership with Colorado UpLift. The event, founded by Peter Newlin of the Gastamo restaurant group, includes a packed day of music, food and other festivities.

Share this:, the Gastamo restaurant group — the folks behind such Denver staples as Park Burger, Homegrown Tap & Dough, Perdida and more — is bringing back the Denver Deluxe music festival for the first time since its pandemic-related hiatus.

Denver Deluxe was founded in 2016, with the most recent iteration in 2019. Newlin maintains that he could not have brought it back this year without the help of co-director Cassie Pinckney and the enabling presence of Gastamo founder Jean Philippe Failyau.many others “UpLift has been around for over forty years in the Denver community," says Nicole Wirtz, the organization's director of revenue and strategic communication. “We serve about 4,000 students annually with five program areas that we offer free of charge.” Denver Deluxe is just a part of raising the $5 million that it takes to make that happen.
