Strictly Come Dancing star Nancy Xu has issued an update to concerned fans after she suffered an unexpected injury during the first live show last weekend.

Speaking to Janette Manrara on It Takes Two, she said: "I didn’t even feel it,” as she revealed the blood had been caused when her earring had accidentally been ripped out. Although the performance saw them face the bottom of the leaderboard after earning just 16 points out of 40, former Family Fortunes star Les insisted that he was undeterred by the score.
