Annette Badland: EastEnders star Aunt Babe on REAL reason she left show ‘It's heartbreaking'

will remember her for unforgettable role as Babe Smith, commonly referred to as Aunt Babe, who brought terror to Walford. But the actress has now opened up about being released from the show and admitted it was “heartbreaking”. Speaking to Radio Times magazine, the soap star revealed the new executive of the show , Sean O’Connor, was not “interested” in her character any longer.
