The Canada Border Services Agency is linking the rise to the fact it began asking people last fall whether they were bringing cannabis into the country.
The border agency says there were 329 instances of cannabis either being seized by -- or forfeited to -- Canadian border officers from Oct. 17 to Nov. 30 of last year.As of last Oct. 17, adults in Canada can possess and share up to 30 grams of legal cannabis. However, taking pot across Canada's international borders remains illegal and can result in serious criminal penalties.
Well duh they legalize weed and don't open any stores so people can buy it legally, the legalization was horribly planned u can tell the PM smokes weed
It's not like there are any signs at the border warning people not to take it across.
Who owns you again?
How many arrests were made compared to the 44 day period of the year before? Oh you dont tell us that either? What about the first days ? Nope just 44 bc it fits the narrative that you are trying to spin here in this bullshit article, either that or you were duped.
So in the 44 days in question, the times that marajuana was seized at the border has risen 60%...hmmm . That makes it sound like it is worse for being legalized . How much marajuana was seized compared to the year before? Oh you dont tell us that?
In other news water is wet!
Don't be taking your pot anywhere near the border!
I’ll take it off the CBSA hands
