Updated March 3, 2019Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has reassured Nigerians that the President will use his second term to consolidate his previous campaign promises of securing the nation, growing the economy and fighting corruption.
Mrs Aisha said this on Saturday during a dinner organized by her at the State House Conference Center in Abuja, to celebrate the president’s victory.‘Next Four Years Will Be Tough’, Buhari Tells Ministers “Specifically, I wish to express my appreciation to the women and youth presidential campaign team that I initiated to complement the efforts of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
Also according to the statement, the President had vowed not to betray the confidence of Nigerians, adding that his victory was a sign that Nigerians were satisfied with the change that his government had embarked upon.
