In remarks in French opening the conference, Legault made one reference to the situation before moving on with the rest of the agenda, which is the green economy. “Clearly, to attain our carbon-neutrality goals we are going to need to build more renewable energy, so I am counting a lot on Andrew Furey to upgrade Churchill Falls and also Gull Island,” Legault said.
