As ITV dating show My Mum, Your Dad came to it's exciting conclusion on Friday, fans were quick to take to social media to beg the network for an update on their favourite couples

After two nail biting weeks of daily romantic drama, ITV’s brand new dating show My Mum, Your Dad came to it’s exciting conclusion on Friday night.

In the season’s grand finale, the truth was finally revealed to the parents that their children had been watching their interactions over the past fortnight - before they gave their all important blessings to their parents as to whether or not they would be happy for them to continue their blossoming romances.

One fan wrote: “#MyMumYourDad @ThisisDavina Hey, will there be a follow up after this series as I am dying to know how the three couples will get on afterwards? Pleeeaassse.” Alongside an update episode, fans also called on ITV to produce another series of the show after they fell in love with the “brilliant” and “refreshing” format of the change from other dating shows on the market.
