Rapper jailed for manslaughter of Holby City actor John Mitchie's daughter

A rapper who caused the death of his girlfriend by giving her a so-called party drug and then filming her fatal reaction has been jailed for eight-and-a-half years

Ceon Broughton, 30, was convicted of the manslaughter of Louella Fletcher-Michie, the daughter of Holby City actor John Michie. His trial heard he ‘bumped up’ the dose of the hallucinogenic drug 2-CP while they attended the Bestival music festival together.He then filmed her as she died of an overdose just hours before what would have been her 25Broughton had been welcomed into Ms Fletcher-Michie’s family during their on-off 15 month relationship.

Should have been given more than 8.5 years. I’ve been following this story and he doesn’t appear to be remorseful at all. Your partner is dying and instead of going to get help for her, you are recording her on your phone? He is scum.

cheap price to pay 8 years for taking a life out in 4 this is is the miserable UK justice system.

This seems such a short sentence for someone who watched someone else die and did nothing. I suppose the issue was around intent. Such a sad case and waste of life.
