28 Feb – Although she is enjoying immense success in mainland China through her period drama,"Story of Yanxi Palace", Charmaine Sheh stated that she still would like to star in a Hong Kong production in the near future.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who recently appeared at a Spring Festival event in Macau amid her hectic schedule, shared that she is not saying no to accepting roles in a Hong Kong movie or TV series despite the more lucrative offers in the north.Charmaine is currently busy filming her new drama - the Yu Zheng-produced,"Winter Begonia".
Asked what kind of project would she like, the actress responded,"It doesn't matter. I'm fine doing a costume drama or even a modern series."On the other hand, the actress expressed her happiness for good friend Catherine Chau, who has been nominated Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards for her role in"Project Gutenberg".
