Lavender Brown's Death Is Symbolic For Cedric In Goblet Of Fire Hermione shot a curse at Fenrir Greyback that sent him flying, which left his victim unobscured. She was seen to be Lavender Brown, a girl who, only a year before, had been concerned with nothing aside from her romance with Ron Weasley.
