Strictly Come Dancing returned on Saturday night and with it came a touching moment to professional dancer Amy Dowden.
As they sat down to speak to the first few celebrities, Tess acknowledged: "We are, of course, missing one of our professional dancers. Our gorgeous Amy Dowden is unwell and she can't be with us for the start of the series, but she's our Welsh dragon and we know she'll be back soon." Sharing a snap after spending the day at the BBC studios last week, Amy wrote the caption: "My smile the other week after being with the strictly family, the entire team."Can't wait to support all my friends and their fabulous journeys this year and I'll be there when I can."After being diagnosed with breast cancer in May this year, Amy shared in June that an MRI had revealed more tumours in different parts of her body.
