Australian rock legend Paul Woseen from The Screaming Jets has died aged 56.

News of the bass guitarist’s passing was confirmed on Friday night in a social media post made by the band.

“We are shattered, dealing with the loss of Paully. He was a brilliant shining light in all of our lives.“Our hearts are with Paully’s family, and we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time.” The rock collective peaked in the charts through the 90s, with three top five Australian ARIA albums - All for One, Tear of Thought, and The Screaming Jets – and the hit single from the debut album called Better.
