Katie Atkinson

is Billboard's executive digital director, West Coast and has worked for Billboard.com as an editor in the Los Angeles office since 2014. She also co-hosts Billboard's Pop Shop Podcast and has interviewed everyone from Dua Lipa to John Mayer for the show.

She previously worked as a digital editor at Entertainment Weekly , deputy managing editor at MTV News and intern-turned-copy editor at The Detroit News. She has a degree in journalism from Michigan State University and has attended every MSU NCAA Final Four basketball game since 2001 .
