For’s second annual Vogue World event – this time on Chan’s home turf – she stayed close to her romantic sartorial sensibilities in custom lustrous Louis Vuitton: a strapless drop waist dress with a full skirt that jutted out from the hip.
As if the striking silhouette wasn’t bringing enough to the table, the organza dress is covered in blueish silver paillettes that were hand embroidered by members of the atelier. When illuminated by the photographers’ flashes, the dress mimicked anthracite. The look felt perfectly in step with theChan leaned into the evening’s theatricality when it came to her jewellery choices, as well.
On the beauty front, Chan kept with the Old Hollywood glamour. With her hair in a low bun and a smoky eye, she finished off her look with a bold red lip, just in time to hail a black cab to the theatre.
