For’s second annual Vogue World event—this time on Chan’s home turf—she stayed close to her romantic sartorial tendencies in a custom lustrous Louis Vuitton, a strapless drop waist dress with a full skirt that juts out from the hip.
As if the striking silhouette wasn’t bringing enough to the table, the organza dress is covered in bluish silver paillettes that were hand embroidered by members of the atelier. When illuminated by the crowd of photographers’ flashes, the dress mimicked anthracite. The look felt perfectly in step with theChan leaned into the evening’s theatricality when it came to her jewelry choices, as well.
On the beauty front, Chan kept with the Old Hollywood glamour.
