A test screening for the new Nosferatu remake, directed by The Lighthouse's Robert Eggers, results in mixed reactions.

“Weirdly, there are sequences that reminded me of Voldemort with Peter Pettigrew and I couldn’t help but imagine Eggers directing the Goblet of Fire ending,” they continued. “Maybe he can direct the HBO Max TV series. That’s how conventional some of these sequences play out.”

According to the viewer, Nosferatu contains a subplot involving possession and a character played by Lily Rose-Depp. “This aspect of the story had varying mileage with viewers,” they explained. “I suspect many will find it underdeveloped but I didn’t mind how they set it up myself. Further developing this aspect might be the key to this Dracula retelling differentiating itself.”talked to another viewer who had more positive things to say about the movie.
