The actor also urged filmmakers in the industry to raise their standards to attract better patronage. He said, “My advice to producers is that they should raise the standard, and give actors and producers better pay. They can also pool their resources together, and they will produce movies of high standards that will be accepted on any platform. Doing that will undoubtedly improve the quality of their works.
Gida added that since two of his senior colleagues in the industry− Kemi Afolabi and Laide Bakare− allegedly fought over him, his relationship with them has been on a professional level.
