It's a great look.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT As the Marvel Cinematic Universe prepares for the proper introduction of the Fantastic Four in its upcoming Phase 6, concept art from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness proves that the team can definitely use its classic costumes in their debut movie.

The Fantastic Four have had a complicated history when it comes to their big screen adaptations, starting with an unreleased live-action movie in 1994. The team finally made its big screen debut in 2005, followed by a sequel in 2007. The Fantastic Four went through a reboot in 2015 that became one of the worst superhero movies ever made, but the team is now getting a new chance over at the MCU.

While modernized versions of superhero costumes are not bad, the MCU has faced criticism in recent years for its over-designed costumes. The audience has been very vocal about their preference for simpler, more comic book-accurate superhero costumes, and those unused designs for Krasinki’s Reed Richards prove that these can work, with just a couple of adjustments so they don’t look too comic book-y.

Other Fantastic Four Comics Costumes That Could Be Adapted To The MCU While bringing the Fantastic Four's 1960s costumes to life in their MCU debut would be beneficial to both the team and this universe, there are other suits from the comic books that can also be adapted. One of the most recent redesigns took the classic costumes and gave them a more metallic, futuristic style, which could serve as inspiration for the MCU's adaptation.

Another option with a different color palette is the white and black suits from when the team rebranded as Future Foundation following Johnny's death, though that could give the idea of the MCU killing Johnny. Whatever costumes the MCU chooses for its Fantastic Four reboot, it should refrain from over-designing them.
