He is set to appear as a new character in a reboot of US comedy Frasier, where he will join the show's original star Kelsey Grammer as his old college friend-turned-university professor Alan Cornwall.
But Nicholas is already a household name thanks to his illustrious TV career and is best known for playing Rodney Trotter in the legendary sitcom, Only Fools and Horses. The star looked completely different from his iconic former character in pictures released before the series premiere. He recently spoke of working with Nicholas to The Sunday Times.
