Two-time Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn has launched an expletive-laden rant slamming Will Smith's 2022 Oscars slap of Chris Rock, suggesting he should have gone to 'f***ing jail' for what he did. Mr Penn made the remarks during a recent interview with Variety magazine. Mr Penn was upset that Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was not allowed to speak at the Oscars, given his advocacy for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. He suggested to Variety that Mr Smith's outburst wouldn't have occurred if President Zelensky had been allowed to speak at the ceremony. 'This f***ing bulls*** wouldn’t have happened with Zelensky,' Mr Penn said. 'Will Smith would never have left that chair to be part of stupid violence. It never would have happened.'
