Janey opened up on how being adopted has affected her dating life over the years as the newest arrival on the ITV dating show became emotional on Wednesday night's episode.

ITV's new dating show My Mum, Your Dad continued on Wednesday night hosted by Davina McCall as a group of single parents attempt to find love once again and put their faith in 'dating experts'.

Janey, 47, from West Sussex had been dedicating her life to looking after her son Will for most of his life. On tonight's episode we saw the bubbly and vibrant blonde show a more vulnerable side to her which triggered her co-stars to tear up. Since entering the show Janey has drawn the interest of one dad in particular as widower Roger admitted blondes are his type, and seems to have perked up having her around the house.
