Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien appeared full of pride as she implored her fans and followers to help her daughter continue to follow in her footsteps. and fans may actually recognise her for appearing in the new series of Waterloo Road.
And taking to Instagram on Wednesday , Tina revealed that her daughter is already up for her first award. The soap star, who is known for playing Sarah Barlow in Corrie, shared a typed-out message with her 516,000 followers on her Instagram StoryIt read: "So proud of @scarlettjthomas26. She is nominated for an award @tvtimesmagazine for her portrayal of Izzi on @waterlooroad.." She added: "Please if you have two mins vote for her," before sharing the link to the voting form.
She was on stage with new pal Tonya Walters, played by Summer Violet Bird, as they read out a heart-wrenching poem about friendship, designed to be between Izzy and her mum, as the teachers, their fellow pupils and Izzy's dad, Donte, watched on with tears in their eyes.
