KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13 — Putrajaya today banned locally produced filmThe ban follows the publication of a government gazette, Film Censorship Order 2023, that was signed by Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and published on September 1.

“The Minister prohibits the exhibition, display, distribution, possession, circulation or sale of the film described in the Schedule which is contrary to public interest throughout Malaysia.
