Both dressed in blue and accompanied by dancers sporting yellow-and-blue outfits, the 'WAP' pair took to the Video Music Awards stage, that was made to look like the tropical setting of their music video.

Megan then appeared on another part of the stage, framed by palm trees, when her part of the song began.

The two reunited on a walkway back to the main stage, stopping to twerk as they moved. They twerked again when they got back to the main stage. The cameras also caught Taylor Swift dancing to the song in the audience and fanning herself at the end of the performance. The Grammy winners previously teamed up on the No 1 hit “WAP,” which received five VMA nominations in 2021.

And both are VMA nominees this year, with four-time winner Cardi nominated for best hip hop and two-time winner Megan nominated for three
