“It’s a deeply nostalgic food from my childhood. I always used to snack on sourdough pretzels with my grandpa. I used to always get a pretzel from Auntie Anne’s at the mall,” she remarked. Narby has even been working on a pretzel bagel topped with her homemade everything bagel season that’s been a big hit.
Narby either spends her days fulfilling wholesale or customer orders, or preparing for local events she still participates in in town. Typically, her day doesn’t end until 6 or 7 p.m.Narby might have a scientific background but also was born with a love of art. She comes from generations of artists in her family and has always loved to draw. It’s another reason why starting a baking business felt like a great fit for her as she could combine her passion for science and art.
