The former Today FM host quit her role on the much loved RTE show earlier this year after ten series at the helm.
She told RSVP Live: “Laura’s going to be great. I met her recently and she’s just a gorgeous girl inside and out.“I think she’s the perfect choice because she comes from radio. “I don’t want to know because I’m really looking forward to watching it and experiencing it like everyone else.” “There’s so much work to be done before and after that and then you don’t stop when you get home - you have to read something, watch something because everything you look at is content.“I’m delighted he has made the decision, I think it’s a brilliant one for him.
“But I can’t have it all. Hosting the radio show I had and being in the schoolyard to pick up the girls is not possible.
