It was 22 years when Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald lost 658 employees during the September 11 attacks. As a result, the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund emerged, dedicated to aiding 9/11 victims and other global charity causes. Over $369 million dollars has been raised and donated by the fund. Cantor Fitzgerald CEO of Howard Lutnick, who lost his brother Gary on 9/11, discusses the fund's significance to both the company and affected families. 'We suffered the worst loss,' Lutnick acknowledges, but he says their determination to rebuild gracefully highlights the company's resilience. As the 21st annual charity day takes place, all revenue generated from trading will be donated. All employees have waived their base pay for the day to also help raise money for the fund. Celebrity ambassadors such as Matthew McConaughey and Peyton Manning will be at the event to help promote the cause.
