Married At First Sight UK star Ella has opened up about being the show's first transgender bride, revealing that she never thought she'd achieve her marriage dream.
"Growing up, my dream was to be a princess, a wife, a mother. Back then, I didn’t think that was possible – that I could transition and be who I am," she said. The bride from Weston-Super-Mare signed up to appear on MAFS UK and loved the experience - but revealed that she underestimated how teary she would be during the process.
As for what she was looking for in a husband, Ella revealed that she wanted someone tall and open-minded with good teeth. " You could look like the back end of a bus but as long as you’ve got good teeth, I’d probably date you," she said.
