It's less than a week to go before Patrick Kielty officially takes the reigns to present Ireland's longest running talk show, The Late Late Show.
The comedian-turned-presenter will take over for his first show on Friday the 15th of September, and his first guests are still a well guarded secret. However, the star has said that he would welcome former host Ryan Tubridy on the couch as a guest in the future, he told the Business Post.“Like any talkshow host in Ireland, of course you’d have Ryan on as a guest," he said.The Co Down native is currently preparing to take on his new presenting role, but he says there is one thing he definitely will never ever do during his run as host - sing.
"I definitely will not be inflicting that on the audience," he told T he Irish Sunday Mirror, reflecting on the time he sang on the Last Chance Lottery on Channel 4."They were saying that they were so embarrassed. ‘Who was this guy that’s just murdered our magnificent song?’"The Late Late Show airs on Friday 15 September, 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.Join our new WhatsApp community!
