As The Multiverse Saga continues to go forward, Marvel Studios are getting closer to their two highly anticipated Avengers movies, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
While Avengers: Secret Wars has a release date, Marvel Studios has yet to tap a director, nor is there a finished screenplay. However, that isn't stopping the MCU audience from speculating and sharing their fan wishes in what multiverse cameos they hope to see in the massive Phase 6 movie. Popular digital artist Art of Time Travel recently released a new Avengers: Secret Wars fan poster, which features the biggest multiverse crossover between the three franchises. The artwork sees Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, with Maguire's Spider-Man and Jackman's Wolverine coming over from their respective universes.
Avengers: Secret Wars will potentially go beyond the MCU and tap into the other Marvel live-action universes, which includes all of the 20th Century Fox and Sony Pictures properties. The idea of having players like Jackman's Wolverine and Maguire's Spider-Man in Avengers: Secret Wars represents how they could even include 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four movies, any of the X-Men films, and have this be the biggest Marvel multiverse adventure in live-action.
Since the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes are still in effect, it will take some time for Marvel Studios to get Avengers: Secret Wars up and rolling. It wouldn't be shocking though if perhaps some deals are already in place, whether it be cast members or filmmakers, before the strikes took place. Hopefully, whenever the strikes come to an end, more details will begin to emerge about Avengers: Secret Wars.
