Hollywood power couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are reportedly among some of Danny Masterson’s former That 70s show co-stars that submitted letters of praise for the actor before he was sentenced to serve 30 years to life in prison.

Masterson who played Steven Hyde in the sitcom from 1998-2006, was found guilty on two counts of forcible rape for separate incidents that occurred in 2001 and 2003 at his Hollywood Hills house.

“He prioritises his family, education, and happiness above all else, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to being a loving and responsible parent,” she wrote. Rupp said it was “hard for me to wrap my head around" Masterson’s conviction however she defended him as someone who was “respectful and kind”.

Masterson was found guilty in May at a re-trial before he received his sentencing on Thursday, local time.
