Blood and Honey 2 will add Owl.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT New images for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 reveal the horror transformation of another classic character. After being announced earlier this year, the upcoming sequel recently announced the start of filming. This means that Blood and Honey 2 is still on track for a 2024 release, following up just one year after the original installment.

New images from The Hollywood Reporter unveil new looks at Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. The images include a preview of the sequel’s new Christopher Robin and an eerie look at Piglet and Pooh. A final image shows a look at another classic Winnie-the-Pooh character Owl, who is given grotesque horror treatment as the actor sits with deformed facial makeup and a feather-clad getup.

Close Blood And Honey 2 Will Expand The Universe From The First Movie Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey was one of the most baffling horror success stories of 2023. Despite being made on a micro-budget and receiving a paltry 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, the horror retelling turned a profit, grossing $5.2 million against the movie’s estimated $100,000 budget. So, while the sequel announcement before the first movie’s release was a bold move, this bodes well for Blood and Honey 2.

Based on new images, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 will expand on the warped childhood tale universe. By adding Owl to the mix, Blood and Honey 2 can make further callbacks to the source, which it attempts to derange. Tigger, who did not appear in the original entry, could also appear in the sequel as the character enters the public domain next year. Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield previously cited a rights issue as the reason for not including Tigger in the first movie.
