Burna Boy makes history, bags multiple BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, has bagged seven nominations for the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Burna Boy in the process made history as the first African to be nominated in the Artiste of the Year category at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. His other nominations include Song of the Year – “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” ft. 21 Savage, Best Hip-Hop Video – “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” ft. 21 Savage, Best Collaboration – “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” ft. 21 Savage, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, and Hustler of the Year.
