Bobby Brazier moved his father Jeff to tears after his emotional victory speech at the National Television Awards last night.He dedicated the prize to his father after winning over BBC viewers while playing the troubled youngster.
Bobby took to the stage to collect his trophy and recalled the uplifting advice Jeff always gave him.“Over the course of the last twenty years, I have consistently heard him say 'because I can'.The camera panned to the proud father who had tears in his eyes as he was comforted by EastEnders star Molly Rainford - who plays Anna Knight.
“I'm really proud of Bobby and the attitude he has had since he's been on EastEnders,” he told the Mirror. “I can see every time I switch it on that he's got better. Every time I watch it I can see he's better in the terms of the layers. I'm no acting expert, I can't say how good he is, but i'm really proud of my son.
