Sean “Diddy” Combs has been tapped to receive the Global Icon Award at the 2023 Video Music Awards, where he’ll also perform.

Combs will be honored “for his unparalleled career and continued influence that has achieved unrivaled global success in music and beyond,” MTV said Tuesday. He’s also vying for four competitive awards this year for his work on “Creepin” and “Gotta Move On,” including two for best collaboration along with noms for best rap and best R&B.
