The money was raised through the weekly Charity Bet feature on each week's show

Belfast Live’s That’s What I Call Football podcast has raised £630 for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice through the show's charity bet feature.

Podcast host Gareth Fullerton said: “The weekly charity bet is a popular feature on the show for listeners and causes plenty of debate and banter as weekly guests and panellists make predictions on the results of Irish League games that week."Luckily we got a few correct bets last season and thanks to BetMcLean we’re able to donate those funds to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

Paul McLean, BetMcLean Managing Director, said: “The sponsorship of the Irish League podcast is a great fit with BetMcLean’s objective to support local sport and it’s great that we’re also able to support a local charity. Lauren Doherty, Interim Director of Brand and Income at Northern Ireland Hospice, added: "Every year, Northern Ireland Children's Hospice provides care and support to over 300 babies, children, and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, both in our dedicated Inpatient Unit at Horizon House, and in family homes across Northern Ireland.
