Gareth Jones's life and death was journalism of the highest value at the highest cost, combined with the international intrigue of an Indiana Jones film.
The Economist is good sample as journalism turned from sort of heroism to sort of propaganda outlet.
Would this be like say media who might conspire to show Venezuela in a good light for political reasons rather than dare to speak against socialism. Just saying.
