Strictly Come Dancing 2023 to air soon as launch date announced

The Strictly Come Dancing 2023 line-up has been revealed, professional dancers are vying for partners and fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the popular show. Now they don't have long to wait as the BBC says the show will be back on air is just weeks.

Some will make history on the show. Broadcaster Angela Rippon will be 79 when she competes to lift the Glitterball trophy - making her the show's oldest ever contestant. She said in August when she was revealed as a contestant: "Having been a fan of Strictly since day one, and as a former presenter of Come Dancing, this will be quite an adventure for me.

The Mirror said the show will return for its 21st series on Saturday 23 September on BBC One. It will run for 13 weeks and finish on Saturday December 16.
