Vina Morales to replace Lea Salonga in Broadway's 'Here Lies Love'

Morales enters the role followingSalonga’s final performance as “Aurora Aquino” this Saturday, Aug. 19, at 3:30 p.m. Salonga remains a vital member of the show’s co-producing team. Cast memberReanne Acasiosteps back in as the full-time “Aurora Aquino” in the interim.Filipino actress Vina Morales debuts on Broadway as she replaces multi-awarded Filipino Broadway star Lea Salonga in the first all-Filipino production of"Here Lies Love.

Morales will join the show performing as “Aurora Aquino” for a limited guest engagement from Friday, Sept. 22 – Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Broadway Theatre . Here Lies Love began previews Saturday, June 17, and opened to rave reviews on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
