Throughout the movie, there isn’t a man-saving-woman theme. There are many women in the film, but they aren’t in the movie just to be victims. One is a powerful leader whom people fear ; one is a daring agent ; another is a hired assassin ; and another is an international thief .
If I had a daughter and I were choosing which movie for her to see, I would choose “Mission: Impossible.” I would want her to see that she can be fearless and strong. The time has come for leaders and supporters of the Republican Party to unequivocally accept the outcome of the 2020 election and jettison their unconditional support for Trump.
