The partnership between Bridges Art Movement and the Saskatoon Open Door Society is a platform for women artists from Iran and Ukraine.

Soon, Tarighat started doing abstract drawings every night before bed, “doodling and scribbling” her feelings onto paper. Shahbadi studied painting in Iran. Returning to her art practice in Canada has been a process of rediscovery.
