New York parents-to-be Shantelle and Chris Dare recently went to an Adele concert with a very specific goal in mind, to get the iconicsinger to share their big news herself. Amid a crowd of hundreds, the couple held up a sign that simply said, “Adele will you do our gender reveal?”

Taking the special envelope from an 18-week pregnant Shantelle, the mom-to-be told the pop star that they had saved their big news since they got it 12 weeks ago just for this moment. With no further ado, Adele ripped open the envelope and proudly announced, “Shantelle and Chris are having a baby boy!”
