Hundreds of people came out to celebrate Bold Street with food, drink and activities.returned today, Sunday, August 13, after a three-year hiatus. The free event was an opportunity to enjoy and celebrate the street and its businesses.
Celebrating Bold Street welcomed a marching band from Albert Schloss, DJs in stores like COW and Resurrection, outdoor market stalls from the resident stores and indoor craft stalls at Leaf. More than 20 local makers sold their handmade gifts, prints, jewellery, art, ceramics and more.There was also live music from a local musician Mike Blue, henna artists, free taster samples of locally made limoncello, live product demonstrations and mini-workshops.
The scouse busker competition also took place with the winning busker winning a free session in a recording studio and a chance to play at the Cavern. Take a look at the celebrations below.
