Masterchef's Dave Benson Phillips responds to hilarious One Direction rumour

Children's television presenter Dave Benson Phillips, who is currently appearing on BBC's Celebrity MasterChef, revealed the most bizarre rumour he read about himself online involving boy band One Direction, which left the 58-year-old in stitches.

"On Wikipedia, apparently I was the fifth member of One Direction," Dave told the Metro, as he also detailed more bizarre information he had stumbled across - a rumour he was married to Australian singer and actress Natalie Imbruglia. Dave, who is married to wife Emma Phillips, decided to test his cooking skills in the MasterChef kitchen to get the thumbs up from judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
