In another, according to the notes, Trump also falsely told Pence on Dec. 29, 2020, that the Department of Justice was “finding major infractions.” The indictment alleges Trump and one of his co-conspirators “knowingly made false claims of election fraud” in a meeting on Jan. 4, 2021.
